Delicious Candy is one of the most renowned strains from Delicious Seeds and one that has gone on to spawn many other strains from these great Spanish breeders. It’s hardly surprising that Delicious Candy is such a success given its fantastic parentage. Delicious have crossed their own Caramelo with a sample of the original UK Cheese from the Exodus community. Delicious Candy is an indica dominant strain that rewards even novice growers with great yields. Production is good all over the plant with lots of yield coming from her thick side branching. This makes Delicious Candy a good candidate for SCROG set ups which will make the best use of this habit. Other training techniques will also provide good results. As indeed will letting Delicious Candy grow out naturally and untrained. A good calyx to leaf ratio means that Delicious Candy is an easy plant to trim as well as enhancing her resistance to mold by allowing good air circulation. Growers should be aware that this is a very stinky plant. Anybody familiar with growing Cheese will know straight away what I’m talking about. The smell during flowering is funky and acrid and likely to attract attention. When smoked Delicious Candy has a strong skunky/cheesy taste with notes of caramel and licorice. The hit is initially upbeat and cerebral but the inevitable descent into a lazy stoned cocoon is never too far behind. This is a strain that has considerable interest for the medical marijuana community and medical users interested in pain relief and muscle relaxants would do well to investigate further.
